You look wonderful! I would never have imagined that wasn't your real hair. I still have hair. Not good hair, thin and getting thinner but enough that it keeps be busy to get it out of the way every morn before I put my wig on. Is the follea gripper hot or itchy?
Thank you Alyce...I have had extentions in for a year. I have been putting a wig off for so long..my biggest fear is how people will react. I can no longer afford the extentions at $700.00! I am devastated and cry every day about it. People may say you just lost your hair be thankful for what you have. I am finding so difficult at 31 and being a single mother. I feel destined to be alone. Its impossilbe for me to feel comfortable dating. I actually had a date last night and the guy I was with told me that he was so glad he still had hair at 35...he said that would be the worst to lose his hair. At that point I wanted to puke...
You've worn FW hair for 20 yrs, wow! how many do you have? I'm getting my second one in about 4 months. My first one is only 1 yrs old and needs repair. I wear it 14/7. I love my FW. Do you only wear FW or do you have other wigs, too. AW rocks!!!

Hi Alyce,
I read your bio and see that you are from Indiana. My husband and I drive through Indiana on our way to visit our daughter in Washington D.C. who has alopecia. Her alopecia started at the age of 14yrs. old after a pool accident. You have had alopecia for a long time. It has changed our life. I don't know of any support groups in our area. Enjoy your day!
