- I've had Alopecia since I was 8 years old and it started just as patches and would grow back only to fall out again... a month after my 26th birthday I began losing it all and I decieded to shave off the remaining. after all those years of hiding it and fearing that people would see my spots it was liberating not having anything to hide and I'm happier for it!!!
