- Once I had beautiful thick, long and shiny hair. Everybody envy it. Now I have something like straw over my head.
I took Diane 35 for my POS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) for more than 10 years. My hair got thinner and thinner over the years but my hirsutism didn't change, maybe it got worse. I'm not overweight but I have other simptoms - male sex characteristics(decreased breast size, increased body hair, clitoris enlargement).
When I had thick hair my mother used to make me wear it on a ponny tail but because it was heavy she tied it very tight and pulled it back really strong. Because of that the fridge area of my head is now almost hairless, it has some hair but it is very fine and short - it doesn't get longer than an inch. My temples are in the same condition.
I also experienced vey high stress for the last5-6 years and gave birth last year which worsen my hair condition.
