My eyebrows are temporary tattoos -- that is, they wash off with water but can last for several days. I had my eyebrows permanently tattooed several years ago, and I don't recommend it. (I wrote all about this in my book, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!") Although the woman who did it was very experienced and professional, I didn't like the way they looked -- I have never seen any tattooed eyebrows that look natural. They also faded to light blue (even though they were originally brown!) -- you have to keep redoing them and after two times (once every two years) I stopped. I still have a blue stain on one side. The needle also made scars in the eyebrow area. And lastly, the process can interfere with your own hair growth, should your eyebrows grow back.
