I'm 15 years old, going to be a sophomore in high school. I was diagnosed with alopecia universalis at the beginning of 8th grade, went through some rough times, and then my hair was somewhat back (at least to the point where I was content) near the end of freshman year. I'm getting ready to start the new school year, but I'm noticing lots of hair in my comb lately, and that can only mean one thing. I was blindsided by alopecia last time, but this time I AM going to be ready, got an appointment with the dermatologist, getting a pen pal, and making this account.
