- I lost my hair 1 year after moving from Pennsylvania to Phoenix. I was 14 years old. It has been over 30 years now. I just had photos taken without my hair... a big step for me! I have never been out in public without my hair. I am hoping to change that soon. I admire those people who have the courage not to worry about what others think. I am on my way, though.

hi christine lost my hair same age as you wore wigs for years had to rid myself of them a few years ago hard to begin with. but no one really cares they accept you . think this site helps paople come to terms with this condition . best of luck with your new look , think you suit it jeff
