About Me:
Newly diagnosed with alopecia. Will be going for a biopsy next month but after much research I now know the type of alopecia I have and I am. So scared. Alopecia ophiasis.. Until now I couldnt find a picture anywhere that looked like mine. Don't even know what to do or think.. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I feel devastated as all the info I can find out about this type states that it comes with a bad prognosis and is hard and resistant to treatment.... Where do I go from here? :( I feel so alone and helpless... I hate just sitting back and waiting to lose all my hair but I would rather not go through any treatments with their side affects especially if in the end it won't matter.
