- I have alopecia since I was 4 years old. My hair grew back twice as a child and then it no longer grew back it has affect every aspect of my life but has matter less as I have grown older. It has been hard to get this point but I still struggle. I wear a wig and I doubt I will ever stop. I wear a wig that I am comfortable with and with the hair I always wish I had. So I am happy with it. I do not know the difference of the different types of alopecia. I am completely bald with very little hair.
