- Hello everyone! I am a long time lurker on Alopecia World.
About my hairloss: I suffer from PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), a systemic health problem causing high level of androgens. As a result, I also suffer from androgenic alopecia. I'm been slowly losing my hair since my teens. Over the past 10+ years, I've pretty much tried every medication, therapy and scam on the market. All of which produced zero results (in my particular case). I've come to terms with my baldness. Unfortunately, people are judged by looks, so I tend to wear a lace front during the work week. Outside of work, you will usually find me either bald-ish or wearing some sort of covering.
Outside of work, I am a college student and wife. I don't have children (another one of those pesky PCOS side effects), but that's ok. My dh and I are both big kids ourselves. We're avid fans of anime, gaming, movies and books. I am looking forward to meeting everyone. :-)
