- single retired and love it; lost a lot of my already fine hair, started in July of this year 2013 and now, almost all my hair is gone in the fromt, top and both sides and MUCH thinner. I was told by my hairdresser that I had Alopecia, my PCP is requesting a referral to a Dermatologist.
I have worn a fall and wiglet in my 20's and 30's of which I was talked into by a hairdresser in my early 20's,,,left me with bald spot on top. Had not worn any type of hairpiece for 30 or so years; had my hair done weekly with color, perms, etc etc.
I am mainly searching for support..but also would like to know how to sleep in a wig without it coming off; I will be in the hospital for a few days and want it on securely
