Its 6 months since I discovered that I have alopecia. I hoped that it will just go away like the internet says it can sometimes but its steadily getting worse and I know I will need help accepting my new status. I can still cover my patches but for how long...

It's natural to try eveything to see if something works. If it's alopecia, though, it's unpredictable. If you do nothing at all, the hair could start growing back and never fall out again! Right now there is no proven viable treatment, but with research going full bore right now, I imagine that within the next five years they will come up with a treatment that works!
