I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata in Jan 2009. I am watching my pencil eraser size spot grow to the size of a half dollar. Looks like a new spot started Apr 2009. I am learning to cope with bald is beautiful. :)

I am going to see a dermatologist in June 2009 because of the uncontrollable itching, and to find out if I have the scarring type of Alopecia.
