- I'm 15 and I've had alopecia areata for almost a year now. Since I first discovered a patch of hair on my head was missing, it took about 9 months to loose almost every hair on my head which was very hard for a sophomore in high school. But on the brighter side of things I'm generally a happy person who hopes to bond and make friends using this site! If you want to talk please send a message!

I am Public Schooled. Some of my best friends are Home Schooled and they love it. I think either one would be a good choice. Do you get teased/made fun of a lot at school?
