I am a fun loving person and enjoy life. I live in California and won't move away from the good weather and friends. I do have to admit that I have had a hard time dealing with this issue of frontal fibrosis alopecia. I thought that I had just plucked too many gray hairs from the front using a magnifying mirror. Unfortunately, that was not the case, I went to a dermatologist concerned with the inflammation and redness. She ran a lot of test; nothing came up with pinpoint diagnosis for the last 3-4months. DId find out that I had high iron of 526 which could be causing the problem. She want me to go to primary doctor and do a whole blood panel. Found out that I was Diabetic low end of 6.7 and starting taking Metaformin and Spriro. Now this problem has lasted 6 months and my hair keeps shedding all the way back to ears. It does bum me out and it stresses me out since I am an outside field sales rep and have to do a comb over my forehead - hard to cover 6 inches with lack of hair. I know that it doesn't help to stress about it, but it does make me feel sad, embarrassed and have lack of confidence without my hair. I know people want to ask me whats wrong and I tell them if they do. I guess I'm praying that it grows back quickly and that the inflammation goes away. Thats all about me , thanks for listening and good luck to you all that may be having the same emotional affects.
