At the age of 24 I was diagnosed with female pattern baldness, the area was no bigger than a quarter then so it was no big deal or I just didn't give it much thought. Now at the the age of the 36 the whole crown is gone. After years of wigs, hair pieces and head wraps I decided to shave my whole head. I looked for years for a support group for women with alopecia, so finding Alopecia World was a pleasant surprise as I embark on this new journey of rediscovering me.....
