About Me
Hi all, I've been away from this group while trying to get myself together, into a place I feel I should be. And I've found what I'm looking for. I am using my expertise as a counselor to give back to those who struggle with Alopecia. I'm at a place where I know I'm ready to help others in need. I have an office in Manhattan to counsel people on the emotional roller coaster called alopecia.

Hi Karena, I've had alopecia for over 30 yrs. and have grown to just deal with it. I wear a bandanna and due to the cold weather, also a cap. I'm athletic and into tennis so I wear a tennis cap. I also love basketball. It's a scarf/bandanna and cap for me. I'm having a motivational speak Sun., Feb. 21st for us Alopecians. Light snack and refreshments and mingling before and after the motivational/inspirational speak. If you think you might go for that give me a call. I'm taking names now. The motivational will be in Manhattan. Check the events calendar here at Alopecia World. Hope to see ya then!
