I have a syndrome called Graham Little Piccardi Lasseur which includes Lichen Planopilaris, and permanent hair loss due to scarring/destruction of the hair follicles on my head and the rest of my body. I have had this since 2013.
1st April 2017, no, this is not an April Fool, I just happen to be visiting this page today. The symptoms on my body have cleared up, but the LPP is still active on my scalp. I do not take any medication, just try to eat a healthy, sensible diet and get enough exercise and rest. I had the other half of my thyroid gland removed in October 2016, the first half was removed in 2007. I am now dependent on synthetic thyroid hormone. Onward and upward. :0)
