- Hi, I am 60 years old and have had alopecia for about 6 years now. My doctor recommended I join the Nova Scotia Alopecia Assoc. but I am having trouble finding such an association on the web. I found one location but the email address is not any good. Can anyone give me a hand with this?I don't have a picture right now but will add one later.

I know how hard alopecia can be; I have had it for about 30 years. After I became the spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, a lot of women were needing my help and support, so I wrote a book called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!"
