About Me:
It all started in kindergarden. It wasn't a big deal.

When I was in second grade, I started to get bullied. A lot of kids and their parents sat there and were talking behind my back saying that I had cancer. But I didn't. Finally, I came home and told my mom. We did something about it. My mom came in with a movie about Alpoecia. Then everything went back to what I thought was normal. But then, in forth and on to fifth grade, (it was sixth grade when I had shaved my head) the cancer rumors started back up. I dealt with it myself along with some help from a couple of teachers. And everything went fine. But, it got so bad that 2 years ago, I decided to shave off all my hair that was still there. It took about a year and a half for me to feel comfortable with not wearing a hat. It was really weird at first but then I got used to it. Last year (seventh grade) I finally stood up for myself. I was in class and it was spirit day. So I wore a hat. The teacher told me to take off my hat. I took it off and put it back on. She told me again so I took it off and put it back on. Then she confronted me.
Teacher: Why won't you take your hat off? I've told you 3 times. Now take the hat off.
Me: No. I'm allowed to wear it.
Teacher: No you're not
Me: Yes I am.
Teacher: No you're not
Me: YES. I am.
Teacher: Fine. You can either take the hat off or go to the office.

I stood up. And I walked out of the classroom. Now that's the first time I have actually stood up for myself. It felt awesome. It happened again with a different teacher. I got a note from the office saying I was allowed to wear a hat. And now that I've felt the pain... I'm going against bullying, have been for a long while.

I hope that I can just make friends on here who also have felt the pain before. :)
