About Me:
I'm 22 years old, always had a strong thick full of hair, until 6 months ago when i found a small patch on the crown of my head... I don't really know what caused it, I feel as if it was a combination of everything, I was very stressed about school and money, wasn't eating properly, actually almost nothing, was on and off birth control, dyed my hair at that time, and yeah it started out with a small patch, then another one close by, then that became one big patch, and another one in the back of my head... i am still able to cover the patches, but im scared that theyll just keep getting bigger resulting in total hairloss =( i'm scared.

I know how scary alopecia can be. I have had it for about 30 years. Let me know if you need help or support. One thing that you might be interested in is my book, written for women, called "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" (It just won two national awards!) It has a lot of good info in it, it can answer many questions, and it's a fun read, too. You can find out more on my page. It's available on Amazon.com, and on this site under "Bookshelf."
