I was diagnosed with areata when I was 2. 30 now, so I'm pretty much used to it! Upgraded to totalis about 7 years ago, sporadically losing eyelashes/brows every now and again. Shave my legs maybe twice a year. That's pretty awesome!
Not sure why I'm here... but here I am.
For anybody wanting ideas, I went into remission about 6 years ago for almost three years after several months of weekly B12 injections + a whole lot of Vit D. It eventually stopped working... but hey, maybe it'll work for you!
I've done nearly everything in the book (they actually tested Rogaine on me when I was a toddler, back when it was prescription only). No luck in the Steroid Injections/Creams/Magic Answers Department.
I'm 2 months in on the Gluten/Dairy free diet and as of yesterday, have some new baby black sprouts. I'll update in the months to come if anything more comes of it.
God Bless!
