Hi Laurie, I noticed your daughter also has alopecia areata. My daughter was just diagnosed 2 days ago and I am completely heartbroken for her. I came across this page while looking up things about alopecia and I still feel so lost. I guess it's all the unknowns and especially not knowing what will happen any years to come. She had her first round of injections and she was so strong and I was so proud of her but I have read so many different opinions on what works and what doesn't. My daughter is only 12. This is something I think about every minute of the day and it's definitely consuming me. How long have you known your daughter has had alopecia and is there any advice you could give from Mom to Mom. Thank you so much!
