The hardest part about Alopecia is you have no control over it. You also don't know if your daughter will have a mild case or more severe. Since your daughter is only seven years old my advise would be to keep your worries to yourself. Many people say that stress causes more hairloss and you don't want your daughter to be stressed about this. Take it one day at a time and deal with it as it comes. Encourage self confidence in your daughter as she grows. Confidence is a big part of dealing with Alopecia. This condition sucks, believe me I know, but it won't stop your daughter from doing anything she wants to in life unless she lets it. I would encourage you to go to the support groups even if your daughter doesn't want to go. You may find it helpful. I hope and pray this will be her last spot. I hope this helps some. Feel free to message me anytime. I'm an open book.
