I am 65 years old and it is very difficult to see all my beautiful curly hair turn all white and falling.
The condition started in 2001 with small patches but now 50% of my hair is gone. I do not expect my hair to grow back and I am worried about the future.
Are you age 18 or older?
Yes

Hi Marie-Claire,
I understand completely how you feel. I've had alopecia areata for about 30 years.
If you need extra support, you might want to get my book, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" I think it would make you feel better. Check it out on my page, and if you want to get it (at a 30% discount), just click on the link.
Meanwhile, big hugs.

Bonjour Marie-Claire,
J'imagine que tu comprends le français!
Bienvenue sur ce site. J'habite également à Montréal et vais parfois à un groupe de soutient.... en as-tu déjà entendus parlé?
Au plaisir d'échanger!
