About Me:
I am 62 years old. At 42 I was diagnosed with Chronic Inflmmatory Dymelating Polyneuropy (CIDP), for the last 20 years, I have every possible treatment available. The first time I was diagnosed, all my hair fell out, however the Dermatologist gave me some cream to use and it finally came back. I lost my husband Feb 2009, soon after I lost my hair again, it has been a year now and it still hasn't come back. In recent months I've lost my eyelashes and eyebrows.

Mary Kay, I'm so glad you are enjoying my book!
I checked on the National Alopecia Areata Foundation web site (www.naaf.org) to see if there are any support groups listed in your area and there's nothing listed for Montana at all! I guess no one is supposed to lose their hair in Montana! If you go to that web site and click on "Support" you will find telephone numbers of people who will support you over the phone. That is the best I can come up with! I am here to support you as well, so let me know if you need anything!

Hi Mary Kay! I am sorry you're having a hard time. I know just how you feel. I am so glad you're getting the book, because I think it will help a lot -- it certainly has helped other women! One reported that she kept my book by the bed and reads something in it every night before she goes to sleep because it's comforting.
I am here for advice and support.

Hello and welcome, Mary Kay!
I'm so sorry about your husband. That happened to me as well, but it has been many years ago. I have universalis, which means I also don't have any eyebrows or eyelashes and no hair on my legs, either which is great!
How are you today?
LeslieAnn
