I'm a very sporty person, who up until recently played semi-professional football. However, I have recently taken an interest in extreme sports. I am currently searching for the right extreme sport for me.
I have suffered from alopecia areata since I was 9 years old, but after a very stressful 2 years I have contracted alopecia universalis. About 5 months ago, mt head would constantly itch and after a bath I would ntice a lot of hair remaining in the bath. Befrore I knew it all of the hair on my scalp had gone. Then I started noticing my eyebrows thinning and my eyelashes reducing.
I now have completely no hair what so ever on my entire body, but I think I am starting to realise hair growing back now, slowly. Or maybe it's hair that I hadn't noticed b4. It's noticable to anyone else, however I notice the hair.
It would be great to talk to people who have suffered with alopecia unversalis and whether they over came it, and if so, how?
Do you have alopecia?
Alopecia universalis
Are you age 18 or older?
