- I am a 27yr old father to a beautiful 4 yr old little girl. She was diagnosed with alopecia universalis at the age of one. She is now starting to ask question as to why she doesn't have hair? And stating that she needs hair to be beautiful. I tell her time and time again hair does not define your beauty and that she is beautiful regardless.
