Hi, Thanks for the friendship invitation. I hope you'll not continue on the steroids which can produce damage that may not appear until later in your life. It's true that some people will see long-term benefits from the drugs but most will see only temporary growth; once the steroids are discontinued the hair loss returns. Are you coping okay with all of this change?
I'm still amazed at the number of people who are afflicted with this disease; before NAAF and Alopecia World, I thought we were a small group. I hope joining the organization is helping you see that there are many of us...and we really do care and understand! Susan
