- Wore dreadlocks for 19 years. Lost 100lbs, hair started to thin so I made the decision 18 months ago to cut it all off. It has been quite a wonderful experience. I have never felt so free. I am a professor, I have three children, a dog and a great supportive husband. It is great to see such a website to celebrate so many beautiful bald women.
