About Me:
LLP and FFA.
Diagnosed with FFA in July 2018 (age 52).
Noticed tingling patches in the rest of the scalp in November 2018 and diagnosed with LLP.
FFA treated with intralesional steroid injections and Doxycycline (although Doxycycline might have been compromised because I did not know the required dietary restrictions): some reduction in redness for a few months but then flared again.
LLP being treated with Plaquenil (started Nov. 4, 2018). As an interim measure, also oral Prednisone (50 mg) for 4-6 weeks starting Nov. 2, 2018. No abatement in flare so far.
As of Nov. 2018, I have spots of scarring and a line of scarring, all about 1 inch back of my hairline. Some hair loss on the front crown.

(A) doctors in/near Denver
(B) other LLP or FFL patients in/near Denver interested in a support group
(C) any experience with drugs, positive or negative, especially Plaquenil, Methotrexate, and Pigliotozone. Also any experience with topical Clebastasol.
(D) any experience with making a frontal hairpiece or wig from your own hair.
