- Hi my name is Natasha I am making a stand that beauty comes from within and not from what we look like on the outside. Granted the first thing people see is the outward appearance, but when you are a victim of a burn, cancer, disease, illness, etc... Your appearance sometimes changes for the worst in society's view. You feel as though you are looked down upon, unwanted, and in general less beautiful or less of a woman (and when people look at you different you feel different.) I have recently had a change of heart due to my mom being diagnosed with endometrial cancer, having chemo-therapy, and losing her hair. Through this experience I have realized how much we have allowed society to distort our view by letting outward appearance overrule the inner beauty. I want to show that if you are bald, burned, have skin problems etc... your inner beauty can still radiate. Myself and others have decided to make a stand by shaving our heads and cutting our hair for women and people everywhere (the hair will be donated to locks of love.) We will be doing this at a "beauty from within" awareness dinner and auction on February 20th at 6:00 pm. We would love your support at this event. Please contact me.
P.S. I am working on putting a CD together with pictures of women the aren't the (as society see's them) "norm." If anyone is interested in letting me use their pictures it will be much appreciated!!

I so agree with you. I have found that inner beauty has a much greater impact than outer (physical) beauty.
