I am a colorful, complicated person. I am a goofy, occasionally ultra-serious woman-child. I love brightly colored things and objects with sparkle and shine. I cannot walk past something fuzzy-, silky-, or soft-looking without wanting to touch it. I am proof that college will turn anyone into a hardcore caffeine addict. I am from the Akron area. I'd like to believe that The Black Keys, Chrissie Hynde, and Devo are proof that isn't such a terrible thing. I love flowers and gardening. I like to sing, especially anything Post-Romantic French or Romantic German. I am a pollo-pescaterian and have not eaten a mammal since my late teens. I think we should all be nicer to animals, even those that are not cute and cuddly. Some of my favorite critters include: capybaras (and other cavies), bats, owls, squirrels, zygoptera and anisoptera, most amphibians, and red pandas. I think zombies are cooler than vampires. I don't care much for modern movies and actors. I ♥ Clark Gable, who is also from the Akron area, and Cary Grant, a Brit. Anything + goat cheese = instantly better. Fluorescent lighting is the devil. Red wine is better than white, but anything tastes best if you're buying. Most people are too uptight...myself included. I live very openly, at times to my own detriment. I try many grand schemes and fail spectacularly the majority of the time. Overall theme: I am not afraid to look like a fool as long as I've learned something and eventually succeed.
