- I am in my forties and have suffered from worsening thinning hair since my mid-twenties. I was originally diagnosed with telogen effluvium, followed a number of years later with female pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia). This year, my hair loss became a lot worse where i lost almost all of my hair on the top of my head.
