- I am 52 years old and have been dealing with FFA for about 5 years now. I have two children that were abandoned as infants that I have custody of. They are 6 and 9. I do suffer from depression behind this. I found out after being misdiagnosed a few times about the FFA and then was diagnosed with systemic lupus on top of going through menopause. UGH. Glad I have found this web-site for support and share what I do to try and hide this. I have lost about 3 or more inches of my hairline and looks like it is still falling out. I have no eyebrows at all but have recently started using temporary tattoo eyebrows. I love them!!! I have a lot more confidence wearing the,. I use to draw them on but always worried that when I would sweat they would come off and they usually did. You can wear these temp. tattoos for days and they don't come off. You can even swim in them. I get mine at ibrowse.com. They are very inexpensive and you can get all colors and shapes.
