I am new to this site, just joined yesterday. Has anyone else had issues with wigs feeling itchy on your head? I have been diagnosed with Lichen Planopilaris. I tried on some wigs to see what they feel like when I was first diagnosed with this. They were so uncomfortable because of the itching, especially on the front. I went to a wig shop and tried these on. I know there are various kinds of wigs. I'm am hoping I can get some information on how to find some wigs that are comfortable and not so harsh to the scalp.
I saw your post on My Follea group and I wanted to let you know that there are Follea consultants located all over the country. On Saturday, October 14th there will be a Beauty Bazar in Daytona and Follea will be there as well. This may be a great time to stop by and see the pieces.
Otherwise, you can go onto Follea.com or locksbylesley.com or peggy knight.com and find a consultant to speak with.

Thank you for your comment! I'm getting the impression that many people have their first outbreak as children or young adults and I am older than that. I guess it's possible I might have had small spots before and never noticed but I think my hair stylist would have commented and I see her every 5 weeks. What I have now is much larger than a quarter. I don't see many people with AA mention having allover scalp discomfort, so it makes me wonder if I have AA or possibly something else. I have a lot of research to do on this site!
