- I am 34 years old and I was recently diagnosed with Alopecia. I am doing the topical treatment 2 times a day. I am not sure if its doing any good because my bald spot in on the back of my head and hard to see. My insurance will not cover the steriod shots and so I am worried that it will all fall out. My doctor said it was probably caused by stress but tbe condition is stressing me out even more and my anxiety and depression is growing daily.
