In December 2011 I started losing hair. Masked the loss with headbands, cropped do and bleach for 8 months until it began to regrow. Thought I'd had Alopecia beat, until February 2013 when the Alopecia Fairy shat on my shiny bald head and took not only all my hair on my head, but that everywhere else as well.. My greatest fear, losing my lashes and brows.. learning makeup application has been my saviour to feeling feminine again.
Am passionate about helping raise awareness for Alopecia and women's hair loss and helping them to accept themselves as they are. It's ok to be you - hair or no hair.
