- 53. Have had bouts of Alopecia that started back in the 80s. I swam into a Portuguese Man=O-War and got sever spots of "burn" and irritation on my head/face, neck and chest. Then the hair fell out. I was in great shape and had an active lifestyle with little stress.
Since then, my hair falls out when I am under more stress than usual. It seems to follow the pattern of how much $$ I have in the bank!
I don't know the Medical type...
