- Hi! My name is Aural! I lost every bit of my hair when I was 50. It grew back in but then started to fall out again. I decided to shave off my remaining hair after I found out that the cortisone shots and clobetasol have terrible side effects.I am also a lot mentally healthier for having shaved my head. Anyway, I love to bike and go to the dog park with my min pin. I am in a new relationship!...I've been thinking about what I can do to volunteer and help other women with hair loss. :)

I think the tshirt is a wonderful idea. I also did that. And to be honest that is what I tell myself every time I go out without head coverings. If just one other person can relate then its all worth the stares. You do have the right attitude. Bravo! Let me know how it goes.
Welcome, you are going to find this site a wonderful place, with many beautiful people. just as i have. its helped me come along way. before finding this site i never spoke or shared my alopecia story with anyone. and i dont know where i would be if i didnt have my animals either. :)
