Morgan, there's no cure yet for alopecia, so as far as treatments go I can't give you any recommendations. At least they are doing research on it and hopefully will have a cure within our lifetimes! I totally understand the feeling of being out of control. Alopecia is very unpredictable and does what it will, no rhyme or reason.
Since you are new to all this, you might want to read my book, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" which I wrote just for women like you. It's helped a lot of people and won two national Book of the Year awards.
