Hello. Sorry I'm just getting back to you. I sometimes go for weeks without checking in on Alopecia World. I am very sorry for your loss of hair, but the white regrowth is a very good sign. Alopecia can be caused many different factors or a combination of autoimmune disorders. Many of us have eliminated certain foods from our diets and that has helped. Different things work for different people. If you are seeing results with the onion juice then I would continue with that treatment.
If you are interested in trying the Xeljanz, you will have to make an appointment with a dermatologist, or rheumatologist if you have arthritis. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and was able to get Xeljanz for that diagnosis. However, my insurance still has not covered my prescription for the drug so I continue to appeal their decision. Hopefully it will go through this month. I have responded well to the treatment for both the RA and Alopecia with no harmful side effects.
Best of luck in whatever treatment you choose. ( I don't recommend steroid injections. I had 200+ injections over a 2 year span. Total waste of money and time, my hair still fell out.)
