mine was like a medium golden brown i dyed it to a darker red brown which i love the thing i would suggest is have him bleach the knots for you in the front it looks wayy more natural and its not that easy to do yourself and if u want it darker order it darker so u dont gotta dye it yourself. i love mine i think it looks very natural juz play wiit and make shure u cut the front to frame your face the biggest dead give away of a wig is that v part in your forehead! so i kind of do a side part with a little to the other side which lookz natural i cant really wear it in a high pony though bcuz i orderd a instock which is a little big for my head in the back but i still love it it seems to tangle a bit on the bottom but nothing to bad i juz love the way i dont need glue or tape it saves me so much time ! sorry but for some reason i couldnt leave a messge
