 ES: Bio\n\nPete Palladino – lead vocals\nBret Alexander – guitars,
lead vocals and anything with strings\nPaul Smith – bass\nRon Simas
 ek - drums\n\nThe Badlees’ history is a colorful one. The band’s t
hird full-length album, 1995’s “River Songs,” resulted in a nati
onal recording contract. Songs such as “Angeline is Coming Home” a
nd “Fear of Falling” were national hits, the highly-publicized vid
eo for “Angeline” appeared on VH1, Directed by Anthony Edwards and
starred Juliana Margolies both from ER!! The band toured the nation
s largest arenas with acts such as Bob Seger, Plant/Page and Gregg Al
lman. Another album, 1999’s “Up There Down Here,” resulted in ye
t another national record deal and was also met with much critical acc
laim.\n\nWith the release of “Love Is Rain,” the band is once agai
n hitting on all cylinders. Critics have placed The Badlees in the sam
e class of songwriters as Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp and Tom P
etty and have called them “America’s best band.” Fans have follo
wed the group with a fierce loyalty and other acts name them as an inf
luence. And radio programmers – before, during and after they danced
with the major labels – have always been quick to add their music t
o their playlists.\n\n“Love Is Rain” – perhaps more than anythin
g the band has done before – shows why.\n\nFor more information visi
