DESCRIPTION:SATURDAY, AUGUST 5 is the 14th annual International Alopec
 ia Day!\r\n\r\nPeople all around the world will be having parties, cel
 ebrations and awareness events. You’ll see IAD selfies popping up al
 l day on social media.\r\n\r\nYOU can be part of the annual Internatio
 nal Alopecia Day YouTube slide show! \r\n\r\nHOW YOU CAN BE IN THE 20
 23 IAD VIDEO:\r\n\r\n1. Take your photos ON International Alopecia Day
 , August 5. This is meant to be a snapshot of Alopecians around the wo
 rld on this ONE day.\r\n\r\n2. Please don’t send in professional “
 studio” portraits OR photos that you’ve posted on your Facebook pa
 ge before IAD.\r\n\r\n3. You can be in a wig, bald, with patches or lo
 ts of hair, or in a hat or scarf. THIS IS ALL OF US, AS WE ARE! It’s
  your choice.\r\n\r\n4. You can include non-Alopecian family or friend
 s in the photo.\r\n\r\n5. If you have a GROUP event, make sure that ev
 eryone in your IAD photo understands it will be in a Public YouTube vi
 deo and agrees to that.\r\n\r\n6. It’s great if you make and hold a 
 SIGN saying where you live – and, you can write the sign in your LAN
 GUAGE. Posing in front of a local LANDMARK or scene adds to the intern
 ational theme.\r\n\r\n7. If you make a sign or banner that includes th
 e name of the holiday, please make sure you use the official NAME: “
 INTERNATIONAL ALOPECIA DAY”, and NOT “Alopecia Awareness Day” or
  other variations. We’re trying to raise awareness with this annual 
 event, so the name needs to be consistent.\r\n\r\n8. Send only ONE pho
 to per person or family - your best and favorite. BUT, if you’re hav
 ing a GROUP event and need more than one photo to show everyone, you c
 an send in more than one. Can’t decide which photo to send? You can 
 make a COLLAGE in one image. BUT, remember that your photos will look 
 smaller in the finished video if they’re part of a collage.\r\n\r\n9
 . TO GUARANTEE THAT YOUR PHOTO IS IN THIS YEAR’S YOUTUBE IAD VIDEO, 
 YOU MUST SEND IT TO: internationalalopeciaday@gmail.com Do not send 
 BEFORE August 5. Emailing your photo to me is how I can be sure I have
  your PERMISSION to put it in the video. \r\n\r\n10. Please give me y
 our COUNTRY in the email you send with the photo so that I can put it 
 in the correct place in the video. \r\n\r\n11. The deadline to submit
  photos is August 31, 2023, so there’s plenty of time after IAD. The
  finished video will be online in September.\r\n\r\nWATCH the previous
