I am currently going to school at Fullerton College, a community college in northern Orange County, California. I am a Kinesiology Major getting my A.S in Pre-Physical Therapy aiming to get my B.S in Kinesiology and eventually my M.A in Physical Therapy and will be ready to transfer by next fall. The application process starts next semester. If any of you go to a school with a good kinesiology program that you would suggest I check out, please let me know. I've been able to maintain above a 3.5 for the last 3 semesters making the dean's list for the last 3 out of a total of 4 semesters so far and look to continue so this semester so I should be able to get into almost anywhere with my current grades Should I push?tag:alopeciaworld.com,2009-03-28:2022678:Topic:2559422009-03-28T03:42:19.283Zbaldmatt55https://alopeciaworld.com/profile/baldmatt55
Hello college students :)<br />
<br />
I am a mother of a freshmen who is attending community college. She has had some form of AA since she was 2 and is currently AU. My question for anyone how might be willing to share their thoughts is this. She graduated from high school early last year because she could no longer take the stares and teasing. I am a mother of a freshmen who is attending community college. She has had some form of AA since she was 2 and is currently AU. My question for anyone how might be willing to share their thoughts is this. She graduated from high school early last year because she could no longer take the stares and teasing. The plan was to enter a Universtiy early, she's a good student so this was feasable. When we started looking into and visiting colleges, she realized she would probably have to share a room with someone and from that point on decided she wanted to stay at home and attend community college. She's not ready to talk to others about her AA. My question is should I push more for her to consider going to a university or should I leave the choice completly to her? I just don't want to help her "hide" having AA, she's a beautiful, capable person with or without hair. But I also understand I need to respect her level of comfort when dealing with having AA. Thank you in advance :) Charlotte I hate it !!!tag:alopeciaworld.com,2008-11-29:2022678:Topic:1731192008-11-29T20:46:41.788Zbaldmatt55https://alopeciaworld.com/profile/baldmatt55
This is my first discussion here.<br />
It's about a problem that I face every Corus!<br />
How come each proffesore treat me nicer than every one else, Is it because I'm bald, Is it Pathetic or what?<br />
Should I be happy of it? Is it normal for every alopecian?

Hey guys,<br />
I am a fellow alopecian who is studying TV production at Cal State Northridge. I am working on a school PSA project about Alopecia and support for it. I am looking for alopecians willing to come out on camera. No talking required, just beautiful smiles. Please respond. This is going to be one exciting venture. Thanks.

Summer Semester -- What to do about my hair?tag:alopeciaworld.com,2008-05-16:2022678:Topic:446512008-05-16T23:38:54.345Zbaldmatt55https://alopeciaworld.com/profile/baldmatt55
Even though I live in Florida and its basically summer year round, it gets more uncomfortable during the summer months. I recently gave myself a buzzcut and am debating getting a wig. (I definitely need one for work... my lack of hair, although not an issue for me, seems to bother other people. That am I am sick of that "Omg, are you alright? You don't have cancer, do you?" questions.)<br />

So what do you all do during the summer? Do you wear a wig to class? I can't even fathom that thought.…

So what do you all do during the summer? Do you wear a wig to class? I can't even fathom that thought. Parking is on one side of the campus and my one on-site class is on the other. Ugh! How does everyone else keep cool walking all over campus? Hair Stylestag:alopeciaworld.com,2008-03-25:2022678:Topic:140862008-03-25T14:49:43.727Zbaldmatt55https://alopeciaworld.com/profile/baldmatt55
