Its good to know that others can deal with a condition like this one. I personally see it as the best thing that has ever happened to me! ... I love changing my style, knowing what my hair is going to look like before I put it on...stuff like that. I hope your daughter will see the fun that is within having alopecia!

So do u have alocepia to or does your daughter? Its not so bad though.

Hi Barbara, I am sorry it is your daughter who has Au. I read a post before yours and became confused... not so hard to become confused these days due to the fact i will be 50 yrs old in a few weeks LOL! Yikes!

Hi Barbara, Wow small world! No I never heard of that band... We were thinking of moving to NC, but we are going to stay on LI for the same reason as you bout no having family around. We may have no choice after our son gets out of college... But that's not for 3 more yrs. So I guess we will decide than. You know how expensive it is here... My husband just retired .
