I dont have alopecia, but my daughter does, she has Alopecia areata.
Jaymee: i have had alopecia for 1 year and it got from bad to good to bad agian. i only ve one spot but it is getting bigger.i have also meet anna fitzpatrick so that was cool.it is also quite cool,one of my friends at school have it and it is universalis,so we are always there for each other.it is also good al my friends at school are really supportive so that helps heaps.

    thanx!! you have just made me well up! that means sooooo much to both of us, it helps when you have supportive friends. i'm sure that even of jaymee didn't have AA she would be there for kaiana.

    Hi Julie and Jaymee welcome to alopecia world. We also live in NZ but the other end to you guys (Whangarei). Our daughter Nicole has AU, she developed alopecia when she was 8, she will be 12 in Oct. Look forward to getting to know you better. Although Alopecia isn't something you would wish on anyone it has it's upsides in that you get to meet so many amazing people.
