love dogs. I started with alopecia almost 3 years ago, when my Mom passed away from ALS. I'm on my third time losing my hair.
Hi, so happy to hear from some of you! It's almost made me cry! It's really nice to have some contact!
I am trying to keep positive, but it sure is hard. Yesterday I went to look for a wig and it started really bad, at one place. Image Makers, not a nice saleslady/man so negative energy and not helpful, I just ended up ;leaving but I did go to two other places, Wigs on Wyoming, the ladies were so nice, but the wigs not as much and then I went to Lorinda's Hair, much better, that gave me some hope! I actually found a wig I like.
I have been reading about this product THYMUSKIN does anyone know it? It's from Germany supposely helps alopecia.
Adriana,
Hi there! I'm really interested in where you went to get wigs here in albuquerque as I to am going to start looking soon. My we could go together and help each other out! Did you find a good one? So you lost your hair three times? Did it grow back every time long? That is hard for me to hear even though it's real because I'm not sure if I can take that happening again to me. This is only my first time around. What doctor did you go to? Here in New Mexico? Did you ever get treatments? I would really like to talk to you if you are up for it. If you want, I will give you my # too. How old are you if I may ask? I am 37. Lauren is also here in Albuquerque, she is 15. Thanks for sending me a message!

I understand exactly the so sad statement. I used to be so pretty. I had pretty long blonde hair and men would turn to see me. Now no one sees me, no one will look or feel me. It is sad, it's a hopeless feeling. So yes, I get it. I wish I had known this was going to happen so that I would have a "relationship" before. Now no one wants me. It is sad, it is lonely, it's humiliating.
