That is such a cute picture of you two! You all look alike. I'm sorry that happened to you guys. I feel your pain. You are a beautiful young lady, & you will be stronger because of this, & make it through it just fine. =)

You write so well for a 10 year old. I know that when I feel down I like to vent my feelings on paper. Maybe you can vent on this site because I feel as though you express your words in writing very well.

Wow...you are so mature, your strength is incredible. I was diagnosed with AA at the age of 9 and it didn't bother me because my family was there for me all the time. Keep praying, you will be okay, He will make sure of that!

    Hey Ashley,
Always remember if you show the world you love yourself and hold your head up high they can't look at you any differently...
With hair or without! I read the best quote a long time ago... "God only made so many perfect heads...the rest he covered with hair." :)
    Keep smiling!

Ashley, my grandmother told me a very long time ago that prayer changes things and faith moves mountains -- and I truly believe that!!

God will not put anything more on you than you can bear -- and when you feel the worst about your alopecia, that is when you should pray the hardest!! My hair fell out when I was 4 years old, so I know how it is to go through school and be around other children when all your hair is gone. Please let us know when you are ready to tell your schoolmates and we will help you get through it here -- and remember you are beautiful and a beloved child of God -- and you are special!!!

I know just how you feel and I have to agree with comments left before me. God will never put more on you than you can bear. All things happen for a reason. I have had alopecia for about 11 years now and most of my friends still don't know and the ones who do know, never make fun of me, don't ever judge me. I pray that you will find someone in your hometown that can relate with you. Stay strong!! And never stop clinging to the Lord :0)
