Claire is absolutely great and what a hoot!! I just laugh, and laugh while I am with her. We walk our dogs all together in the local park. They are great buddies.

I can't believe she told you that. She is absolutely barmy isnt she. Yep, we are getting taken away quite soon. We went and saw the ranger today and explained to him, its a laugh isnt it. I tell you that old fruit bat was a rude arrogant old woman, puts all pensioners to shame. How rude. I have never had anyone talk to me the way she did us the day before yesterday.
Did Claire tell you though, we saw her arrive at the park yesterday when we were sitting down with the dogs, she was in the distance, and I shouted 'Yoohoo' You alright?' and would you believe she waved us back...what a laugh. I am sure she didnt know who we were for a little while til she clocked Claires bandana.......we roared at this.....You gotta laugh havent you?

And I tell you she tazzed down the opposite end of the park, as quick as her old rheumatic legs would take her.......

I meant to say earlier I have had a great day thank you, I always do, especially when I meet up with Claire, except today I lost my glasses.....I know dont ask. I had on my sunglasses, and my glasses tucked over my t-shirt and I ...........lost them......god knows how much a new pair will cost. I went back to have a look where they could have been dropped but no luck. I only have sunglasses now, its going to be awful going to work and having to wear them there..til I get my new ones.
Yes.......I locked my keys in the car too....I am such a barmy mare, I would forget my head if it was loose. I often lock myself out of the house too. Its happened dozens of times, luckily my neighbour has a set of keys, but she doesnt get up til late, and I have been stuck in my porch from 6.30am til about 10am on occasions, when she eventually opens her curtains, and I run over and get them.

I heard about your night out with Claire on Friday, I bet it was a hoot......she is so funny.....when I am with her I laugh all the time. I bet it was a great night out for the two of you and you both didnt get home til 2.30........it must have been a good one.

Thanks so much for your message, and sorry I didnt get back to you sooner, what with my son on here all day and night, its hard to grab a minute.
My weekend was great. I went to a christening yesterday, in Henley in Arden. It was beautiful, its nice to catch up with family. The weather was gorgeous too, so that made it even more special.
I missed my walk in the park yesterday with Claire and the gang, and I dont think I will see her for a week, as Henry has to have an operation on his eye, which I assume you know about. So I will miss the banter, she has me in stitches most days I can tell you, I come home and I am worn out with laughing. She is a great does of medicine.
I havent seen the fruit bat for a few days now, but she avoids us when she does. I cant stand old people like that, so I would avoid her myself.

You should have called your cats Vodka and Tonic, but I love their names anyway. I had a cat years ago, and have never had another one. I loved our Patches. But I have Knute now, and she hates cats, she is forever chasing them away when they are in the garden.
Hope y ou have a good night out, Claire mentioned she might be going out with you tonight......... I am sure you will both laugh the night away.

Its great you adopted your cats from the protection league, I admire people who give pets good homes, as they must need them.
Its great to see you and Claire be so good friends. She is very special. I have a few male friends too, but not as good as you seem to be, always there at the end of a phone call and at the ready to go out for a drink with your pal. She mentioned the meal too, hope it was great, and you both stuffed yourselves. Where did you go? you lucky pair.
Your cats sound super, I bet they give you lots of fun, they sound that they do anyway.
Sorry to hear about your accident, Claire was telling me yesterday what had happened, and that you are all in one piece. She mentioned she is picking you up from work too, thats great mates for you eh?

Yeah, 3 hours at the park....you would wonder what we get up to there...but its great chatting and meeting people...we really do have fun there.
You never mentioned the concert you were at last week...Bon Jovi...wow...I bet it was great..I heard all about it on the radio...the last group I saw were the Eagles, and before that Pink Floyd...way, way, way back when!!!!!!.

It only seems its me that writes to you these days, you must be sick of my babbling on.....but its something to do and I enjoy it.
Anyways, how are you, hoping you are well. How are you now since the accident, is everything going ok? Have you got your car back or are you still driving the 'hire car'.
Its going to be a hot day today, so windows down, let your hair blow in the wind, and keep cool. Yesterday was lovely, but the wind, it wasnt as hot as I thought, except in the car - like an oven,
I looked like a cooked turkey when I got home from work, as I dont have air-con.

Its been an age since I was over and for that I am sorry. How are you and your lovely cats??? well, I hope...
Up at the park most days with Claire, and her dogs. Jack has settled with her marvellously, its as though she has had him with her for ages. It has helped Claire, no end, she is a much happier girl. Its given her something to focus on.
Well, what about her hair growth, great news isnt it? But yesterday, she said she had showered and her eyebrows disappeared - so she says dont hold your breath....It would be such a shame to have her lose her hair now, after all this time.
She goes around now without her bandanas. I think thats a very brave thing for her to do, but she is very comfortable with the way she is, and I admire her loads for it. Yeah, she is a girl with spirit alright.
Anyway Martin, I am late for work, so I am off now, take care. Look after yoursel.
